it would be nice to make
quota limit per day for users
so we will be able to open high speed accounts for 100 Mb daily for example tx/rx or limit is on rx only or tx only

either that or has anyone written a script to set all (or selected) users values back to 100mb at the begining of each day/week/month?

try this

/tool user-manager user reset-counters (username)

i did this already for setting max transfer bytes daily and reset at the beginning of a day, sadly you cannot do total byte transfer (rx+tx).

I used that for the moment to reset the value. If I use the reset-counters one, will this still show me how much they have downloaded and uploaded or does this reset those values too?

The new User Manager will have the feature - periodic reset of counters. For example, it will be possible to specify 1GB download limit daily, 5GB limit monthly, etc.

It is not implemented at the moment, but will be in near future (the new database structure is built taking this feature in account).

User Manager features have never come to the table. Look at all posts on this subject. I would give it more love if there was more people supporting or posting back other than wait for the next version of it.

I would say go with Radius Manager 3 it is secure and they are very good about helping you get it all running. You can’t beat the price for it.

I have been waiting for this ability - to set daily limits - for a while now.

Since UM 4.3 is now in trials can anyone confirm that this feature is available?

Is there anything other than the change log that has UM 4.0 features listed???
