Our company bought Mikrotik R11-2HpNd for embedding it into end device.
But the problem is that this device has OS, that is not RouterOS (it’s OpenWRT - linux-like OS), and we can not increase output power of Mikrotik R11-2HpNd.
The max value was 24dbm, but there is 30 dbm in technical documentation. Can anyone help me with this problem? How to tune R11, if OS not RouterOS, but another Linux-like system?
I wiil be appreciate for any help.
RouterOS uses custom drivers. The open source drivers could be made for indoors only.
is there any possibility to make this driver for our company? if yes, what kind of person i need to talk?
MikroTik uses a proprietary driver from atheros, we can’t share it. You can contact Atheros maybe
