R11e-LTE Detailed Information

Hello everybody.

We are currently working on a project involving 50+ government cars to monitor CCTV and GPS on each transport online.

While with standard LTE connectivity it is clear, it is not clear at all regarding detailed specs and information on this product - R11e-LTE.

I’ve googled a lot and found nothing on these two questions:

1) What are the appropriate AT commands that will work with R11e-LTE, any list?
2) Does R11e-LTE include a GPS module? If so how to enable and use it. It would be great to use one solution for both LTE and GPS.

P.S. We are using wAP LTE Kit.

Thanks for sharing.

  1. ?
  2. NO.

The new ltap coming out would probably suit your needs as it has GPS and LTE.

Maybe Mikrotik will list official AT commands. I have found that quite a few normal AT commands work fine with the R11e-LTE

Thank you for a quick response

LtAp is indeed a good solution, but no ideas on price and release.. We have waited for it since the last Mum where it was announced at presentation.

However it is strange why Mikrotik did not provide any integrated solution with LTE and 5Ghz.

For 3rd party uses of the R11e-LTE, could you at least provide the AT commands disabling the unsolicited status/progress messages?
These may be interfering with chatscript. e.g. after a AT+CFUN=1 the modem puts out a lot of responses, including some of them after the “OK” response.

as Mikrotik guys confirmed it on site in Berlin, the device uses the same LTE modem as the wAP LTE kit and the GPS is on the board, not on the modem.
