R11e-LTE firmware update problem on RBM33G

Hello guys,

I have a problem with firmware upgrade of R11e-LTE module : with recent version of routerOS it’s not possible to launch the update.

I use a new RBM33G on default configuration and new LTE modules for my test, the APN profile is configured and LTE module is in running state (IP address and routes provided by 4G operator).

Starting with with the factory firmware 6.48.6 I’m able to update a LTE module. Moving on routerOS 7.2 it’s still possible to update a module.
But I’ve tried 7.10 and last 7.15.3 it’s no longuer possible.

Does anyone know why I’m no longer able to update LTE firmware on newer router OS ?

I’ve found my problem when creating the LTE APN I need to specify to use IPv4 in my case. It goes to auto after the router OS update hence my issue…

It will works well. Tested on RBM33G and LtAP.

I had to downgrade my LtAP Mini to 6.49.18 to run the R11e-LTE firmware update to MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v021. It refused to update under RouterOS 7.18.1.
