Just saw on the main Mikrotik website there’s a new card, the R52H. Can I use multiple R52H cards, say four cards with a IA/MP4 (Routerboard 14 miniPCI - PCI adapter)?
I’m trying to get 7-8 interfaces (3x2.4, 3x5.8, 1x900, and 1x5.8 backhaul) in a single uATX enclosure. I notice you can’t use the SR cards with the IA/MP4 adapters so if multiple R52H cards do it’d solve my dilemma.

judging from my interperatation of the IA-MP4 spec sheet, it would appear that you would get 757mA per miniPCI slot.
Just to show my thought process, on the IA-MP4 spec sheet it says:
Input Power: UP to 2.5W of 3.3V power supplied to miniPCI card.
Now from my math that gives me 757mA, but is that per miniPCI slot for the entire PCI board shared between the 4 miniPCI slots? I’d assume it would have to be per slot as the R52 uses ~400mA..
If it’s per slot it would appear multiple R52H’s would work (max amperage 800mA)…
Is my thought process off? Or does this seem realistic?
