R52Hn in 5825-5850 MHz?

I’d just like to verify some details about the R52Hn. Certain vendors (no names  ) do not support the upper 25 MHz of the US 5.8 GHz band (FCC Part 15.247). This can make it harder to find clean frequencies. Does the R52Hn go up there? The brochure doesn’t say, though another MT card did say that it went to 6025 (in other words, it was up to the user to stay within the legal range). Is it clean enough to go 20 MHz wide with a 5835 center? (I’d think so but would like to check.) A 5840 center (that’s cutting it)?

Second: Does it support 10MHz “n” half-channels?

Third: Does it support nv2?

And finally, do any of the cards have the FCC approval for the 5.4-5.7 DFS-required band? Thanks.

  1. yes, it goes up to 6Ghz

  2. yes, and it also supports 5MHz

  3. yes, it supports nv2

  4. yes, it’s FCC approved but not in those bands.

What country setting do you need to use to get use of the channels above 5825?

Set frequency-mode=superchannel to get it.

RouterOS v4.3 allows you to test frequencies that are outside your regulatory domain. Please remember that you can do this only if you are within a controlled environment, know what you are doing, or have a special permission from the local regulatory office.
