From what I’ve seen from articles online, this card supposedly allows for real 200mbps transfer speeds. I was just wondering if anyone has been able to reproduce these results? Actually I don’t even care if its 200, even if it breaks past 100 I’ll be impressed as I have yet to see any chipset giving consistent speed above 100mbps.
I was hoping to use this card as an AP (with ath9k driver) for a router I’m building. If it can sustain > 100mbps transfer speed with a client (4965agn/5300) then it’d be a dream come true.
The previous R52n (which was less powered) wasn’t able to reach 100mbps I believe, so If anyone is able to test this card, please post some iperf results.
