R52hn with airmax sector antenna

Hi everybody .
I want to use R52hn with airmax sector antenna .
the model number of antenna is airmax 2g-15-120 .
you can find specification from this link .
http://ubnt.com/downloads/AirMax2GSectors.pdf
please confirm me that is this antenna work fine with R52hn ?

Why not?
I´m planning to do the same. The Airmax antenna is need, compact design but I don’t like the ubnt OS. I prefer MT. You only have to find the right cables to attache a rb radio to these connections of UBNT.
.
As far as the antenna is concerned it is presented a radiowave by the radio. The radio wave has no tag on it saying it was produced by “x” manufacturer. So the radio can be any make, the wave it produce will have to be of the same nature. Differences in protocols, modulation, TDMA or whatever is digital info the radio’s on both ends have to work with. But the electromagnetic radio wave is the only aspect the antenna is made for.

So imho if the Airmax antenna is as good as they say combined with the design I think it is a very good combination with rb.

They work great. I have several 2G-16-90’s on R52HN’s and R52N’s. No issues.

thanks for replay .
can anyone suggest which pigtail is best for connect R52Hn to AIRMAX SECTOR 2G-15-120 .

I recommend you use one as short as possible

Same here, worked great. Mine is on a 220 ft cell tower. I did run into surge problems because I was using a short sma to N pigtail. I had to use a slightly longer jumper and ground it; also added a couple 5ghz lightning arrestor and all has been good for about 15 months. (in a very heavy lightning area). Before the grounding I was losing the Mikrotik boards on almost every other storm.

Were you losing the boards or just the radio cards? What card and boards are you using?
