R52N & RB411AH ~40Mbps = 100% CPU + constant disconnects

Hello MikroTik,
I’ve been experiencing some troubles with 7km link and 2x2 R52N on RB411AH.
Link quality is 100/100 CCQ 270/270Mbps but after 40Mbps link disconnects and I see constant 100% cpu usage on 25/30Mbps.
I’ve removed connection tracking, unneeded services ftp/ssh/www, there is no firewall.
I’ve tried two setups:

  1. MPLS transparent bridge
  2. WDS bridge
    Both show same result and I’m not happy with it.
    I have two other links with RB600A & X86 Intel boxes and there is no problem with these links.
    I wanted something cheaper with rb411AH and I got worse result than with 802.11a 40Mhz setup( which was ~60Mbps ).
    Do you have any idea why is that happening?

I think I read that WDS and N are not friends.

MPLS & EoIP behave even worse.

Promind i’ve exactly your same setup, but my CPU doesn’t go more than 30% on 20Mbit traffic…and i’m using VPLS. Resources aren’t my problem

I’ve upgraded to 4.0rc1 and have setup only 1x1 connection and I’ve achieved 130Mbps UDP and 96Mbps TCP.
The cpu blows when I configure 2x2 connection.
Since one of my links is pretty badly configured I’m using just one antenna for now.

Yes,
90+Mbps of TCP traffic(tested with real traffic not bw test).
The link is 6/7km with complete LOS but there is a lot of interference because of other wireless devices around.
My link is:
7km - p2p with RB411AH(r52n) -53 signal ~ 95Mbps real traffic
37km - p2p with RB411AH(SR71-15) -64 signal ~ 62/63Mbps real traffic

can you send me your wireless config? Here, or by email. We have problems with one link of 3KMs with perfect LOS.. using R52N.

We have 250 UDP in one direction and 5 in the other : /

My config is extremely simple.
I use WDS transparent bridge (RSTP) - MikroTik advised me to use EoIP or VPLS but none of them worked for me…I don’t think the problem is in my setup…
All services except ssh/winbox are stopped - there is NO firewall, NO connection tracking and I have disabled packages like ipv6,dhcp,hotspot,routing,mpls and etc. useless ones.
Simple wds bridge…UDP says 125/130Mbps TCP gives me 90+ Mbps.

to MikroTik:
Can you tell me where I’m wrong with my VPLS setup…I can’t get even half of my wds performance with VPLS transparent bridge.
I’ve followed this howto:

your 90 Mbps TCP are stable and without problems using only 1 antena? I need to know if I can use this for video surveillance with 7x10Megapixel cameras.

promid, could you write to support with the support output included when you have that high cpu load and disconnects?
Also make another support output file when you are doing throughput test using VPLS where you have 2 times slower speed.
