I have a major problem in one of my installations.
Hardware: RB532A + 2 cards (I’ve checked: CM9, Foxconn Atheros 5414, Senao Aries2, Tonze Atheros 5414, Gemtek Atheros 5213 and 5414)
MikroTik: I’ve checked 2.9.7, 2.9.8, 2.9.9, 2.9.10, 2.9.11, 2.9.12, 2.9.13, 2.9.14, 2.9.17
Installation: 30m mast with Centertel Telecom (GSM 900 and 1800), 2x Tsunami (5.2Ghz), a couple of radio lines 3,5Ghz and 13Ghz.
Power supply: PoE 40m Ethernet 18V 2A and 48V as well.
Settings in the wireless section: all tried, a couple dozens in the range 5470-5700MHz.
Problem:
MT at the base of the mast works ok with AP RadarDetect switched on, as soon as it is moved up to the top of the mast the problems start.
As soon as the cards leave RadarDetect the CPU RB goes to 100% and the pings on the ethernet rise to 500-700ms. Sometimes leading to an automatic reboot with the “watchdog timer” entry in the syslog.
In the 5GHz MT doesn’t detect anything active - there’s total silence.
The logs don’t show (wireless debug) any radars detected.
With the No-RadarDetect all is working properly.
