Radio on but not transmitting

So I’ve setup a Wireless AP with a Dbii F50N-PRO and again with a Compex WLM200N5-26-ESD and after a week they stop transmitting until I reboot. I’m using RouterOS 6.5 L4 x86 with a StarTech PCI to mPCI adapter. Until I have to reboot they run great.

On my WISP experience, I NEVER use again Compex.

Upgrade to 6.7 and see if any difference.

What about voltage? Do you have it close 28v?

This is not a C.B. (27MHz), you can not use more tension to give more out…

All the device (except some CPE) on my network use 18V [this voltage not stress capacitors and are the ideal voltage for almost all RB].
28V lock routerboard for overvoltage protection.

But what if you have 24v battery bank? You need trickle charge voltage also the max voltage of 28V is dropped down but must examine the actual voltage rating of the capacitors used.

When I need to backup power the PTP or AP, I use [12+12] & [12+12] sealed acid battery pack (24 volt total) with voltage regulator [30..20 → 18V] inside the box of PTP or AP.
They are made on commission by an Italian company Microset.
Also the box are made on Italy from Totalconn / Wi4Net [Anyone remember the MUM on Italy? There was one stand]

Do you have a model number for the voltage regulator or was it a Charge Controller?

OK - You have 24v battery bank and voltage regulator attached, dropping voltage from 24v to 18v, so you must have a float charger to charge your 24v battery bank,

I had same problem in three wireless base stations, I changed all equipment but (incredibly) the problem was still there. In second inspection I saw voltage close to 28v, so I hanged voltage from 24v to 12v and I solve.

I upgraded to 6.10 and same problem. The voltage doesn’t matter in my scenario because I’m running the radios on a PCI to mPCI card in my PC. RouterOS 6.10 x86

I have the same problem but it only occurs with R52n-M radios I bought. I wanted to upgrade to a radio that supports 802.11n I’m using x86 v6.11 on x86. All other radio versions I have work but they are only 802.11b/g. I have two R52n-M radios and both do the same thing. I use minPCI to PCI adapters on two different model x86 machines. The radios experience the same problem on both systems. I have to reboot and then I can see the SSIDs and connect with my laptops and smartphones. After a period of time, the radios go silent and all connections drop.
I suppose there will some joker that will say just replace the radios then. These are brand new radios with Mikrotik’s name on them.
