Radius and User man

Howist,

please tell me what i am doing wrong?

I am trying to get pppoe server to use userman on my mikrotik (the same router for server and user man) with v5.14

All i do is?
1: add router in userman with ip address and password
2: add a radius in mikrotik with same ip and password and then check ppp
3: under secrets in ppp i must enable radius?



What else do i need to do? cause when i try connect the mikoritik throws and error in the log saying radius time out…

I have reloaded router os and it is still not working. I have no idea what could be wrong.

I mean its not a complicated process…

Use loopback ip - 127.0.0.1

you must do this work’s:

3.under secrets in ppp i must enable radius
4.run pppoe server on your ethernet
5.create username and password in userman
6.in radius,check accept box for incoming port 3799

I am still not having any luck:

the error i get on the pc when i dial the pppoe account is
on pc:

Connection failed with error 691

on mikrotik

PPPOE connection establishes from mac address
terminating… - use Dylan authentication failed - radius timeout
disconnected

in user man do i have to enable CoA support?

i have setup radius before and it worked, but this is a newer version of userman.
But if i look in log of userman there is nothing, so to me it seems like userman isnt talking to mikrotik.

and if i go to radius incoming all the requests and acks nacks are all 0. so that means to me there was no requests?

is it possible for me to load the older version of user man? with the new ROS?
