RADIUS and Windows IAS?

Does anyone know of any guides to get Mikrotik RADIUS and Microsoft IAS working together for PPTP connections?

I found one helpful post that gave steps for setting up a hotspot but I’m looking for PPTP help.

I downloaded the NTRadPing utility as suggested in that post and I can successfully authenticate using my workstation but not the Mikrotik – I just get messages in the log saying “: terminating… -user username authentication failed - radius timeout (6)”. There’s nothing being logged on the IAS side either as if it’s not receiving the Mikrotik communication.

I am looking to do the same thing right now. I am not certain about the PPTP connection, but I am looking to authenticate MikroTik Client with a Windows IAS server using a PEAP authentication
method.

This is on an existing network that is currently successfully using a Proxim unit to do this.

Could we use a wired connection using MT first?

I am working a similar issue. The authentication protocol is also known as PEAP?
