I run a small wisp. It is a bridged network from core router to CPE. I run ubiquiti for cpe in router mode. At the WAN interface of the CPE I can VLAN for a NATed address or no VLAN for public. CPE authenticates via PPPoe thru radius. Billing software hands yes/no to radius with bandwidth limiting attributes.
I was using edgerouter pro, but due to a number of issues with er pro I have changed to CCR1036. Which I am very impressed.
The problem I am having is bandwidth limiting is not working. On original ER Pro I was handing WISPr Bndwidth-Max-Up and Max-Down which worked well.
On the CCR however WISPr does nothing.
If I use Mikrotik-rate-Limit 1000000/5000000 only the upload from CPE is shaped.
Hoping someone has some input or direction for me to look.
