We have one server called Directory Server on Novell which is having one group INTERNET. Where we have some Internet user listed in that.
With this server we have another server call Border Manager(Firewall/ Proxy Server) and all the user are connected to it.
Currently, if some user login in his/her machin first the border manager check whether the user is having internet access in to a INTERNET Group (Directory Server)
Now,
What i want, i want to configure MT in place of Border Manager, Which go and checks in to Directory server for user Access. and supply the internet to the user which is listed in INTERNET Group.
We have morethan 5000 total user and out of it only 2000 user is having to the internet.
As far as I know, FreeRadius can query Novell. I’m not 100% You can also write your own module for FreeRadius to go and query Novell.
Either way, this is pretty much a Radius issue, and not a Mikrotik one. I’d suggest you seek the required assistance from Radius vendors as they’d be better suited to assit.
