radius clients connect to (and with src-address) of loopback ip?

I can’t figure out how to get this to work. I want the loopback IP address to be how I connect my radius ‘userman’ server to the client routers but I can’t get it to work. Will only work when hitting an actual external interface. Using OSPF to route, so loopback interface and IP is what I need.

note, loopback is an empty bridge with a /32 address.

You could probably do a srcnat rule that matches RADIUS packets and sets the source IP to what you want - it does seem silly to need to do this though.

chain=srcnat protocol=udp src-port=1812-1813 action=src-nat to-address=LOOP.IP
