Hey everyone,
I’m setting up an Mirkotik/Ubnt environment for a customer, with a really limited budget.
At the moment i’ve got
a couple of unifi APs
a RB2011UiAS-RM
a raspberry pi with a freeradius server
Now, the customer has a few clients whom live there 24/7, they are going to log on to the wireless network by radius authentication.
Now the basic auth is working just fine, however, the customer has reuqested time limiting (e.g. the user should get locked out automatically at 1AM, until 7AM next morning)
This is a easy task with the right equipment, but this time I cant put my finger on it, as far as I found out the UniFi APs don’t support that RADIUS attribute (yet). So since automatic handling by the APs ain’t an option I was thinking about setting it up in routerOS by using the firewall, hotspot, scripting etc.
But I don’t know how to do this in routerOS. I’ve seen enough examples for limiting session time, but not for login/out time limits.
Can someone here point me in the right direction?
Thanks a lot ![]()
