RADIUS login on Winbox

I have setup an MT500 series to authenticate login requests against a RADIUS server. If I authenticate via the web interface all works:

Thu Oct 13 12:12:34 2005: Auth: Login OK: [iain] (from nas MTFWA1/S0) socket 0 (0 sec)

However, connecting via Winbox fails and I see the following log entry in my RAIDUS logs:

Thu Oct 13 12:14:55 2005: Auth: Login incorrect: [iain/] (from nas MTFWA1/S0 cli xx.xx.xx.xx)

Why the difference? Is this a bug in the s/w?

Still got the same issue after upgrading to 2.9.8: Logins via web and SSH all work fine, but logins via Winbox result in the failure as described above.
