I want to do the following but am not having any luck. ![]()
Givens:
- two routers. one = RB532 (RTR1), one P4 (RTR2)
- Both routers are running user manager.
- RTR1 and RTR2 both show RTR1 as the client.
- RTR1 shows RTR1 and RTR2 as radius servers. Listed as 127.0.0.0 and 10.0.0.1 respectivly.
- Different users have been created in each usermanager.
OK… here is the issue…
If:
RTR1 is listed in the radius list first, then only users from the local usermanager database are authenticated. ![]()
If:
RTR2 is listed in the radius list first, then only users from the remote usermanager database are authenticated. ![]()
I need it to work in the folowing manor:
RTR1 looks in its local userbase first, if the user is found then authenticate the user. If the user is not found then pass the request to the second radius server in the list Etc…
Or is there somthing I am missing…
Any information would be helpfull..
I understand that a lvl5 Lic only allows for 10 concurent users, but I want to place the LVL6 box at HQ for the corporate users that must roam, and utilise the remote LVL5 license for guest of each office (guests will not exist in the HQ userbase)
Is this possable?
Can the hotspot remember what radius server to update with which user?
(Sup Out files avalable if nessisary)…
Things that make you go HMMMMMM…
