Radius Server and Hotspot trial.

Hi

So, I have setup my clients for PPPoE authentication on an rb532a and we have a Radius server with a Mysql backend. Now we want to offer them Hotspot with MAC Authentication instead of PPPoE for faster and less problems upon login.

Now my problem is, I want them to have a trial with the new hotspot and the trial would authenticate to the radius server for some bandwidth tweaking like enabling burst mode… Can that be achieved in the present version of RouterOS?

There are no any information sent to RADIUS for Trial user, everything is going locally.
But you can use MAC-address method over RADIUS, MAC-address even doesn’t ask for login page for HotSpot user. User is authenticated as soon as user present in HotSpot active list.

Hello there.

i have
free radius server installed
Radius manager 4
Mikrotik router.

Now i want a login page where users online have to click LOGIN (without giving informatie like a name or something) and in the backoffice (mysql) a new user (mac adress device as username) will registrered. Who can help me?
