hi guyz, i have a router board 1100, running both hotspot and static, my trouble starts when some of the hotspot users cant log in since radius server dsnt respond, i have enabled cookies so as to make the login easier, but still some cnt, any advice on how i might change this

you need to check if:

  • The HotSpot Server Profile that you are using it if it use RADIUS or not, you can check out by going to IP>HOTSPOT>SERVER PROFILES>DOUBLE CLICK ON UR SERVER PROFILE>CLICK ON THE RADIUS TAB>CHECK IF THE Use RADIUS is marked or not.
  • Check the IP Of the RADIUS Server on ur MIKROTIK SERVER & USERMANAGER SERVER, by default it’s 127.0.0.1 and you can check it by going to:
    http://RouterIP/Userman>Router>Add/Edit>check what is the IP & The Shared Secret
    Through WINBOX>Radius On The LeftBar> Check the IP & The Shared
