Radius server

Hi
is it possible to set up a rb to use as a radius server to log in to other rbs
we tried setting up an rb as a radius server as shown on the wiki but could not get it to work

Yes, the router has a radius server “usermanager”

can you explain a bit more as we have tried setting it up as the mikrotik wiki but when we try to log in we get wrong username and password

I think you will be very disappointed about Userman. Mikrotik OS has serious limitation to get a full blown radius server up and running (I have a setup, using a AH1100 as CPU otherwise is constant 100% and configuration do not save etc etc–no scripting blabla…)

my suggestion is to download virtual server from Yfi hotspot - it works out of the box and has everything you might need based on linux and freeRADIUS with Ajax web interface for management.
