I have been fixing some small issues with our Hostop / Radius server implementation, one nigling issue at the moment is that when I list the active hotspot hosts in RouterOS via the API, it does not return the radius session ID, and in fact returns the same ‘id’ for all the sessions listed.
The reason for wanting the radius session ID is for a script to ensure that the two databases have not got out of synch, so if the Radius Server / RouterOS dies for what ever reason it as soon as it comes back up it will mark any sessions that don’t exist in RouterOS as dead in the Radius Server’s database.
