i have set up a RADIUS server for hotspot - guest wlan access. What i’ve noticed is that I could only connect to ONE user in ONE session. Even if i defined few other users i was not able to access the internet resp captive portal kept saying ‘radius server is not responding’. Ok.. then i’ve tried to connect with the same user on a second device. There i got the error message ‘no more sessions for user xyz is allowed’.
For this purpose i’ve use CRS328 with L5 license. I have read that L5 can handle 50 sessions. What does this mean? One user with 50 sessions? or.. 50 users in one session?
RADIUS is from my point of view mandatory when allowing guests to connect to the hotspot.
Anyone any thoughts/results on this?
