Radiusmanager-Mikrotik-Nanostation issue

Hi,

Im experiencing strange problem after upgrading my network infrastructure from simple wireless access list to PPPoE Server.
On AP side we have Mikrotik boards 333 with latest 3.24v OS with 2 xr5 cards bridged together. We use Radius manager for authentication allso latest version 3.6.1. On client side we use nanostation-5
The problem is that a lot of clients sometimes cannot log on to radius and when I check log on Mikrotik I cant see that the client is calling . After some time when the client reboots the antenna or we disable and enable PPPoE server on Mikrotik the problem is solved but later it happens again.

Anyone experienced this kind of problem ?

turn on the watchdog on nanostations

Hi Steven,

Thank you for your post but we have 500 units and it would be a bit complicated to log on to every device and turn on watchdog. Im trying to find out what is causing this problem.

Is there anyone who is using radius and PPPoE server who can post the configuration of PPPoE server here so I can check what is wrong configured. Im having same problem still. Updated Nanostations to 3.4 airos , Mikrotik to 3.25 OS but still the same issue. Nanostations are not calling in pppoe server so we have to reboot mikrotik AP several times in a day.

maybe setting the radius accounting interim update to 00:01:00 might help

Interim update is alleready set to 00:01:00 but the problem continues. I see that mikrotik guys are not ready to help even that I have hundreds of routerboards and mikrotik products using them for years.
I would like to know some reasons what can affect mostly PPPoE connections. I read on some forums that CCQ is very important but I dont have problem with CCQ becouse they are all stable over 80%.
We have to reboot mikrotik AP-a several times so the users can connect , this is only help we have right now.

I have the similar setup with radius manager except bridging the cards. Maybe the bridge is the problem. Try it without bridging and see what happens.
