RB 1000 Series Clarification Question

I’m very new to the MikroTik community, and I have a pretty simple question:

I purchased a RouterBOARD 1200 with RouterOS 5.2 installed on it. I went to the MikroTik website to check if this is the latest OS version, and the website says version 5.5 is available for the “RB 1000 series”. I’m assuming the answer is yes, but before I brick my newly purchased hardware, is the RB1200 part of the RB1000 series?

Yes, as you see RB400 series includes RB411 and RB433, so RB1000 series includes RB1100, RB1200
