RB/112 Bombed After Upgrading From 2.9.51 to 3.10

Hello group

I have found that a couple of my RB/112’s bombed after updating the F/W from 2.9.51 to 3.10 I lose ethernet access and the wireless functionality also ceases to function.

Anyhow I have connected a null modem cable to one of the MT RB/112’s and after logging in I select ‘r reset configuration’;
after initiating the reset process I see the following in the terminal first

RouterBOOT booter 2.4

RouterBoard 112

CPU frequency: 175 MHz
  Memory size: 16 MB

Press any key within 2 seconds to enter setup..

Next the system returns

loading kernel from nand... OK
setting up elf image... OK
jumping to kernel code
System halted.

If I refrain from pressing any key during the 2 second setup entrance option time and allow the RB to boot to the kernel the system returns ‘System Halted’??

What is the alternative solution to this issue.

Thank you for your time.

next step would be to attempt to reinstall RouterOS with Netinstall

Thank you…

I thought that would be the best option but was unsure, hat’s off to you ..

Thank you msorensen, just completed NetInstall without a hitch up to 3.10.
