We removed an old RB532 this afternoon and replaced with RB411AH. Everything was working fine until we were starting to get the Bridge port Vlans marked invalid. We had 4.5 on 1 end and 3.30 on the other. We decided to upgrade the board on the other end… but the same problem happend on the AP side of the link.
This is a backhaul link, and as soon as we would run a speed test on the remote board to our core router, it would cause the Bridge port Vlans to be marked invaild. We are using WDS Bridge. Soon as we got both boards back to 3.30 … no problems.
FYI - I noticed with 4.5 and testing with wireless N, the bandwidth test would cause pausing / freezing, and would randomly reboot the boards. I was testing using MPLS / VPLS. 4.5 has some sort of problem.
