i have rb 433ah it works from 1 2010 properly
but i noticed that it started rebooting every 2 or 3 minutes about 2 weeks, but a few days ago it restarts every 10 or 20 seconds, an it become very hard to use internet
i have reset it and re configure it several times but still reboots
what can i do
some times it still work till i connect to it then it reboots immediately
Time Graph image in inSSIDer attached
the green one is RB
sorry about language
I dont know how to check if it power problem or something else,
but i fount out that the routerboard still running till i start downloading or when many ap s connect
i mean transferring big quantities of data
Can you do a visual inspection of the board and check if there are any visual problems? Check if the capacitors look ok, and if they are not inflated, leaked etc.
RB433AH reboots constantly, not possible to boot at all with or without radios. Worked perfectly until last night. Power supply OK. Any advice?
Only fails at night? Works good during the day? What power supply are you using? Voltage/current rating would help, and whether it is regulated or unregulated.
If it is a RB433AH, it has a voltage readout in “/system health”. What does that say?
edit: The voltage report below is from last night. This is a RB433AH powered by a 12v 1A unregulated power supply. Note what happens to the supply voltage starting about 21:00 until about 05:00. If this was a 24v unregulated supply, the voltages would be twice this. What is the max supply voltage for a RB433AH before it starts rebooting due to overvoltage?
