RB 433AH + UB5 (AP-Bridge) and RB 411 + UB5 (station)

As stated in the subject, those two babies won’t work together for me…

So, reseted to default both boards

the rb433+ub5 is putted in Ap-Bridge (no other settings made)
the rb411+ub5 is set up as Station.

On the station, the scan window does not display anything.

I’ve tried several configurations, setups, and nothing.

I connect to my computer a Nanostation5, and bingo, it sees the rb433+ub5 in ap-bridge.


What i’m doing wrong, or what’s the correct setup, to make one work as AP, and one work as station ? (later , after they see eachother, i’ll configure ip/dhcp/htb/etc…)

well, i changed the rb411 with rb600, and now works, i mean, i can see the ap-bridge.

funny thing, i was unable to obtain a successful association until i added the “station” mac on the ap-bridge connection list.

with “default authentification” checked, i always got in logs “authentification failed”

so, what’s the setup for ap-bridge and station, to connect to each other without the need to specify the station mac on the ap-bridge ?

well, everything is default… before doing any configuration, i did from console “system reset”

i noticed that all the files from the “Files” section are gone.

Any way to get them back ? :slight_smile: Or, i should reinstall the OS ?

you can restore, if you have done system backup
earlier doing system reset
