Hi Normis ,

I’m looking to buy a RB433UAH for just web proxy cache server and wanna know how can i add more RAM’S in this router
board ..

This router board have just 128mb ram and 3 mini pci slots .. i wanna use a usb hdd 500gb on it for cache .. (15mb ram for 1gb hdd )

RAM of this board cannot be upgraded. Can go RB450G path with 256 MG of ram.

more ram -128MB- means more from the standard 433 -64MB-
And routerboards are not suitable for caching.

Oh definately not suited IMHO, CF cards on our RB600A chew all the cpu while accessing. If you want stronger hardware, could always go a x86 box with the appropriate license. Then adding ram, hdd etc is easier.
