Why in begin log “RouterBOOT-2.39” but last log menu - “RouterBOOT-2.3”?
Reset button don’t work, holding its don’t give result. Ports LEDs Blink only one - when Power on with and wirhout holding reset button. But in section “Routers/Drives” in program Netinstall router don’t show up. Port LEDs don’t lighting, side LEDs lighting. There is no beep signals.
Have you tried other baud rates in HyperTerminal? For example, 9600 bits/s to see anything in terminal while RB450G boots.
If there is no output, only solution is prepare Netinstall on PC, connect PC to ether1 port of RB450G and reset it with reset hole in order to connect to Netinstall after backup booter loads.
Try different metal objects to cover both sides of reset hole, because sometimes it is quite tricky with screwdriver.
How make prepare Netinstall on PC, what “Client IP adress” in “Net booting” button?
After reset router takes default ip?
I give him file system-5.20-mipsbe.npk and other 5.20 packages, its right?
Set static IP on PC, for example, 10.0.0.1, netmask - 255.255.255.0 and in Netinstall “Client IP adress” - 10.0.0.2
Your router does not seem to be able to boot in RouterOS, so it does not take default IP address. In this case, the point of reset is connecting to Netinstall and getting Client IP from Netinstall.
