RB 750U suppoted USB Drive Size

does RB750U has got any limitation on supported usb drive? can I use 32GB USB stick drive?

There is no limit. You should be able to use 1TB external drive too.

This is great Job. you have solved the big problem I faced by using RB750. I was not able to collect proxy Log without having Log-server.
Now I ordered 750U with 16GB USB memory.

I just tried a 3tb drive, the “Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk 3 TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive” and it won’t let me format the drive, says ‘disk formatting failed’ immediately when I try to format it. what gives?

edit: tried this with ROS 5.12, 5.15, 6.0beta2, running on a RB751U-2Hnd

There is not enough memory to format such disk. Plug external drive to x86 RouterOS with more RAM and format the disk. Attach it back to RouterBOARD, it will be recognized and ready to use.

Usb 3.0 will support…?

RouterBOARD devices have USB 2.0 ports, so USB 3.0 devices will work at 2.0 speed.
