hey guy I just installed a crossroad and the TX power showing me 29 dBm that is near to 1W.
Im using 10Mhz channel width
What do u think guys is this a bug? or gift from Mikrotik,

P.S. the board is working absolutly good

He he, where is the problem to change Tx power to Card rates and set it to 24dBm? (26dBm (2422-2457MHz), 24dBm (2412, 2462MHz)
there is no problem, but according to the datasheet the maximum power output of this board is 26dbm and the winbox is showing me 29 dBm, Will not burn it ?
Dont worry, i had Compex WLM54AG-23 (23dBm) card. and i could run it on max (30dBm) without any problems.
can you show me the default TX power of your card?
sure
Default rates:

Increased rates:

sweet!!
I tried once with a R52H and instantly burned.
lol
Yup.. MT card isn’t for inceased rates. At the moment my second CPE operates with R52H and it has much better sensitivity compared to Compex WLM54AG-23. Running Compex with 1mW i have 18/18Mbps, but with R52H i have 54/54Mbps with default rates. So no need to increase Tx power. MT rullz by defaults.
well, if you look through MUM presentations you could find that usually if you need more power then smart move is to use better antenna not ramp up output power.
Actually some (latest) batches of the Crossroads devices are capable of 29dB, just like the original poster sees. This is normal, and correct. It’s not a bug.
To comply with FCC we locked down the power on the devices, but apparently your device was reinstalled.
With great power comes great responsibility
You must use it according to your country regulations.
SWEET 1W in my AP, lol, yes here in my country I will not have any problem with this
thanks normis
