RB Instlation

Dear All,
Honestly request the idea about RB position with the following questions:
1.What the ideal distance between AP with WDS on the tower.
2.Wicth one more suitable to set as AP or WDS between 2 ea RB ( RB 411,RB 433)

Ithink the gain of your antene would be take effect.
2.RB411 only can be set as Client. So you should use RB433 as AP.

Hi kurei, you can make a link with 2x411 in bridge mode too.

Wow..really, I’ve never tried about that. as much I know, we need ap brige to make bridge mode. and level RouterOS of RB411 is level 3 as default level. in the winbox mode, level 3 is can’t be set as AP. Do you mean RB411A..

if you need a bridge, lvl3 is enough, just use Bridge and Station WDS.

Bridge mode is like AP mode but only for one registration.
