RB M11G 802.3af/at

Hi,

I cannot find a conclusive answer on the web…
Can I power the RB M11G with a regular 802.3af/at switch(and have gigabit connectivity)?

On www.routerboard.com Information is Not clearly

Page says Passive POE 8-30
But

https://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/M11G-170817105410.pdf

Says 802.3af/at with unshielded cable, But It Says 8-30v, there is somethink wrong!

@Normis

Knowing MT and looking at all their other products, I’d say passive POE is correct, and 802.3at/af is incorrect.

There’s not one single MT device that runs on 802.3at/af

You are not up to Date @savage

Oh ok, I stand corrected - there’s one :slight_smile:

The most AC Outdoor devices are 802.3 capable

M11G is passive only. There is a mistake about the “shielded”, as you correctly observed, there is only 8-30V.
