I need to do a high performance wireless bridge soon and it looks like I will need the RB1000 from the throughput tests. Any idea when will it be available commercially ?

yes, it’s for sale already - the RB600. The Rb1000 is a server-room kind of device, with rack cases available eventually.
No specs until now at http://www.routerboard.com. Has it enough power/memory to run
as BGP-Uplinkrouter.
