We are really need your fast assistance.
We have RB1000 unit , the unit is connected WAN- which is Ethernet 1 is connected from Point to point (P2P) link , and the internal interface is Ethernet 2.
So from P2P , subnet 172.29.17.0/24, it is connected to the ethernet1 172.29.17.211 and public IP 62.53.x.x,then it is connected from Ethernet 2 , subnet 172.29.13.0/24 to HP switch (we replaced the switches few times because of the problem) and to the other components of the network – we have another P2P link , wimax NPU etc…
What happen is that every hours or two hours we can see that the Ethernet 2 is stuck , we can access the MT from Ethernet 1 but the traffic from internal network is going down ,and we can not access the equipment after the eth2.
In order to solve this , I can disable enable eth2 , or reboot the unit , or change the speed for example from 100M full to auto and back.
This is very strange issue , and we don’t know how to proceed.
Few things you should know :
- We are using version 4.5
- I replaced the unit to another one and it happened again
- On eth1 I also noticed on few issues , when connecting the cable from P2P link to the eth1 of the MT , it was not show that the cable is connected, I tried reset the MT few times , but with no luck , eventually I pup some Dlink switch between the P2P interface to the Eth1 and the interface was connected, when I replace to new MT with the same ver I connected it without the dlink switch,the eth1 did not connect only after reset.
