What is your upload channel and a processor?

what have you configured on that router? or just the BGP?
only BGP, v 3.10
Upgrade to latest version and enable routing-test package.
Sorry, which makes routing-test package?
Same problem, with 205Mbps service
Max. 200Mbps → Quad Core 2,4Ghz → Max CPU: 20%
Max. 160Mbps → RB1000 1,33Ghz → CPU: 100% (33kpps)
Not using bgp, just source routing and some mangle and firewall rules.
Disable queues. it gives RB1000 240Mbps CPU:83%
With Quad Core 2,4Ghz any problems? such as packet loss?
I only have 1 queue, limiting one specific IP to 6Mbps.
With Quad Core, no packet loss at all..
Strange, i have an RB1000 on ROS 4.2 which receives ~300 Mbps/25000pps of Multicasts, and only relays one stream (4 mbps) to another location - CPU Load is permanently > 90%. It seems that the Processor lacks the performance (both in PPS and Mbps) the datasheets make believe. Simply receiving and dropping 300 Mbps traffic (again, only 25k pps) shouldn’t totally kill a RB1000.
Same problem. RB1000, OS 3.28, routing-test, 3 bgp sessions, firewall + queues. forward between 2 ethernets.
Speed 200 mbit/s, CPU 100%. When I disabled all firewall rules and queues CPU 85%.
