RB11-2Hpnd with minipcie to usb adapter not working

Hi all,

We try to use a minipcie to usb adapter working with our RB11 cards but we have no success
The card isn’t recognize in dmesg or iwconfig in linux.

Cards are very happy when they are connected over a minipcie to pcie adapter but not through usb.
We want to use RB cards with embedded systems like Raspberry, Minnowboard & whatever but not with in-built mini-pcie port.

Have you guys got any success with theses adapter (minipcie to usb) ?

it will not work.
it is not a converter, it’s rather a breakout, as mpcie slots have native usb on some pins. it works only with usb devices, like wwan cards (3g, lte).
the rb11 is a native pcie device.
the adapter you use is basically a set of wires, it will not translate usb communication to pcie.
it just connects the usb pins of a mpcie socket to a type a/b usb connector.
