Tried all three recent Route OS versions…system crashes within in minutes.
I have two Rb 11’s , 2 8602s and 1 xr2. brand new, all
Crashes with all.
MT you need to either address this or RELEASE A FASTER PLATFORM…how in the heck are we supposed to be using 400 or 600mw (yes i need this power, or i would use r52) with any speed? 532? full of power problems…133? nice but 175mhz..
watch dog does nothing after crash either, but that has never worked for me.
I believe the RB11 can not produce the power required by any of those cards. Thats what I remember from a previous post anyway. Best to do your homework before hodgepodging a system together and hoping it works.
Ive read those threads…and i did do my homework.
read the routerboard.com page..they say the other two PCI to miniPCI cards do NOT support SR2 / 5 but on the RB11 they do no have it.
eitherway way we need a way to power 400mw cards in consumer MT enabled PC’s..there is not enough cpu power any other way.
so what are people running who are running sr2’s or xr2s or 8602s and a PC based MT device..i need to be able to do Nstreme ect..

I’ve successfully used SR2/5 in RB11 bridges, but XR2/5 crashes for me. Haven’t used an 8602 in an RB11.
