RB1100 AHx2 ethernet interfaces index mismatch

Hi,
I’m running RouterOS v5.18 with an RB1100 AHx2.
I noticed from the interface>ethernet>print output:

[admin@MikroTik] > interface ethernet print
Flags: X - disabled, R - running, S - slave

0 ether1 1500 D4:CA:6D:20:6D:EF enabled

the strange thing is that I’m connected to the physical port 1 on the routerboard (so I guess port 0 ether1 should be running) but the output says ether3 (index2) is running.
It seems as if there’s a mismatch between physical ports and connected interfaces.
I noticed these behavior on 3 differente RB 1100AHx2.

Anyone with such a problem?

Thank you

Regards

Port numbering is often a problem with Mikrotik. Please send this to support@mikrotik.com so they can fix it in the next update.

jandafields and snapshot, thank you very much for the report.
The problem is fixed at MikroTik RouterOS 5.19 version, that is being tested for release.

Hi sergejs, do you have an idea of when the v5.19 will be out?

Thank you

Thanks guys!

This has been driving me insane. Every time I reboot a RB1100AHx2 with eth11/12 as bonding slaves they change and break the bond :frowning:

v5.19 is being tested intensively at the moment, it should be released very soon.

If you like to get the newest release candidate version (with the fix for the particular problem), contact us (support@mikrotik.com). We will give you “rc” packages.
