RB1100: Port speed problem with Motorola BSR100 on Ether4

Hello,

we have a big Problem with CMTS Motorola BSR1000 connected to RB1100.

BSR1000 is set to 100Mbps, Full duplex, Autonegotation On (default settings).

It’s now connected to Ether3 (or Ether4, Ether12 same problem)

Ether4 is manually set to:
Speed: 100,
Auto Negotation: On
Full Duplex: On

We get: Auto Negotation: ON, Link: OK, State: UP, Rate: 10Mbps!

If we try to turn Off Auto Negotation there is NO link.

RB1100 is Upgraded to newest Version.

I found temporary solution for the Problem: We use one old Telesyn 10/100Mpbs Switch between RB1100 and Motorola BSR1000 and now is Connected: Full Duplex and 100Mbps.

Any solution?

What type and how long cable are you using? Is it 10Mbps full or half duplex?

1m long - CAT5 Patch cable.
It is Full Duplex on 10Mbs.
