Hi I have a RB1100AHX2 and I’m having some issues with the set up. I’ve been able to connect the serial cable and I’m able to go through the login process but when I get logged in it does not come up with the normal boot menu where you can select by letters options. It almost seems like I’m connecting into the box after the RouterBOOT has completed. I’ve tried setting up DHCP through the command line but even then I’m still not able to get an IP address. I went through the process of resetting the box back to all of the factory settings but even then I cannot get it to work. Also the setup command is not an option when I am trying to configure it through the serial cable. I have two other MikroTik routers and both of those work great but this one feels like I’m just banging my head against the wall. Since I haven’t been able to get an IP address I am unable to get to the GUI webpage. Is the RB1100 only CLI or is the GUI still there and I just can’t get to it yet?
Try to connect with the winbox program and try to connect with the MAC-address.
