I have a RB1100 running V6.0RC6. First of all, I can not upgrade it to RC13. I follow the normal steps:
Copy the file called routeros-powerpc-6.0rc13.npk to the routerboard
in a console do a /system routerboard upgrade
Click yes and wait for it to upgrade, but it does not happen.
Secondly the routerboard started rebooting recently at random times. No devices on port 11-13. No recent upgrades. The routerbaord is powered by UPS and not PoE. It really just started happening for no apparent reason.
I have the router logging to a remote syslog server, but it doesn’t seem to log anything before rebooting and since it does not want to upgrade, trying an install op RC13 is also not possible I feel kinda lost.
Thanks for the reply. I tried that but it does not upgrade.
Here is an email from support@mikrotik.com regarding my autosup file:
Hello,
Autosupout.rif file shows that the router is rebooting because of software
problems. First, you should upgrade RouterOS to newer version, the latest is
available from the link: http://www.mikrotik.com/download/share/routeros-powerpc-6.0rc14.npk
Then report back if problem persists.
You can open supout.rif file with a viewer in MikroTik account but information
about crashes is not available to customers.
