RB1100AHx2 as PPPoE server

Hello all,

this is my first post in this forum and i’m new to Mikrotik/RouterOS world so sorry if my questions are to basic. :slight_smile:

I would like to know the maximum number of PPPoE sessions that a RB1100AHx2 router could manage.

And if the same router could manage two full-route BGP sessions with one ISP and on internal-BGP. Or perphaps you would separate two functions in two routers: one for access layer (PPPoE router) and one for routing layer (BGP router).

Anybody is using this model as PPPoE server?
Futhermore, it is capable of support several full-route BGP sessions?

it’s capable of handling full BGP view, but I would not use it as a core router above 500mbps uplink speed.
