RB1100AHx2 CPU Utilization Not Balanced

Hello

We are a famous Internet Provider in Middle East and We have three
RB1100AH-X2 in our Enterprise Network.

We use these routers to establish a L2 "EOIP Tunnel " between our
branches (Telecom Centers).

Now we have problem with our Routers CPU Usage, actually they are NOT
balanced and one CPU Core has 88 Percent Utilization and another has
50 Percept Utilization (Check attached Picture).

Note: changing Firmware is not Efficient.


Now do have any Idea about it?

Is it Normal and we should to upgrade our Router to a “CCR”?

I would say it is close enough. Why would the system need to spend effort to balance the load more closely?

When you have performance problems, it seems better to sit down and look at the design of your network, and
try to get rid of the EoIP tunnels as much as possible.
