I’ve recently bought several 1100AHx2. Most of them after taking out from the box didn’t boot. After plugging serial cable there were error messages that you can see below.
cp: unable to open `/nova/lib/defconf/defconc-custom': Read-only file system
/etc/rc.d/run.d/S12defconf: 42: cannot create /rw/DEFCONF: Read-only file system

-a Same as -dpR
-d Preserves links

-R, -r Copies directories recursively
rm: unable to remove `/rw/DEFCONF': Read-only file system
I don’t know what to do next, if I have to ‘netinstall’ or send them back to the supplier.
