Can someone advise me how to install firmware via netinstall on a RB1100AHx2 board.
I have tried it via port 13 but is there a button within the router which needs to be pressed like the RB750 boards?

You should either turn on network booting from within RouterOS, of if that is not working, connect serial cable, and enable network booting in RouterBOOT firmware
