RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition no USB port???

Hi all

have just received my RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition only to find out that it doesn’t have a USB port

Why on earth would mikrotik launch a specific dude edition without the possibility to add a 3G/4G dongle to the USB port

I currently run the dude on a ccr1009 and rely on the 3G connection to send me sms messages if something goes down on the network, and this is not possible on the RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition

Do anyone have an idea on how I can have the RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition send sms messages from a 3G connection, possibly by sending the sms messages from the ccr1009?

yes I know I should have checked, thats my fault

is there anyway that I can have the rb1000dude sending sms notifications through another MikroTik that has a USB port with a 3/4G modem connected, for instance my ccr1009?

there is always possible to send sms trough some kind of API or home made script. eg take a look at https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:The_Dude_v6/Dude_Telegram_Example
